ENDEARING MISCHIEF-MAKER  DOB 4/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jasper, a cuddly, playful, and super-mischievous brown tabby fella with strong mackerel stripes that make me look like an exotic jungle cat. I assure you, however, that I am very domesticated! I adore it when Foster Meowmy holds and cuddles me, which she can do interminably, as far as I’m concerned. In fact, I often run up to her in hopes that she will pick me up, and sometimes I even have to “meow” to get her attention so she’ll oblige my request. I’m a frisky dude who’s obsessed with toys like baby mice, crinkle balls, and spring toys. Another time that I “meow” to Foster Meowmy is to enlist her assistance in finding my favorite toys that I’ve lost. My feral momma birthed Topaz, Obsidian, Onyx, and me underneath the seat of an old car parked in a used-car business. Foster Meowmy’s finding us when we were only about three weeks old might never have happened if she hadn’t been trying to rescue another set of kittens whom another feral momma had birthed outside of Foster Meowmy’s house. The other momma had moved her litter from Meowmy’s yard to inside her neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add) and ultimately a few doors down to the used-car business. Imagine Meowmy’s surprise when she found not only the kittens she’d been tracking under the driver’s seat but also my litter under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were seven weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes, but I’m the ring leader when we escape the foster bathroom so we can play with the resident two-year-old cat or explore Foster Meowmy’s bedroom.  I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my endearing mischief, rowdy playfulness, and affectionate cuddling to my forever family. Could I be the next “baby” you hug? Will you help me find my lost toys? Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A047 Jasper’s $125 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.
