He has a beautiful shiny black coat and the most soulful eyes one can ever imagine. His name is Jax and get ready for your heart to melt. Jax finds himself without a family to call his own because his previous owner unfortunately entered hospice. He is determined for find the love of a family once again. We are more than happy to give Jax a second chance. Jax is a big boy at 108 pounds and is a labrador retriever mix. He is six years old and has plenty of love to give for years to come. This welcoming boy is a crowd favorite in any crowd. Jax is great with other dogs, children and adults. Any extra attention is always welcomed. There is nothing better in the world of Jax than scratches, pets and of course treats. He has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so we do not know if Jax would be open to a feline friendship. Jax is knows his stuff and he is already house trained. He is all about making his future family proud of him. He is currently working on his leash and crate training. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. His gentle demeanor and super loving nature will win the hearts of those around him.
