My story has had a few unexpected turns—my first family had to say goodbye when they were expecting a new baby. I thought I found my forever home shortly after, but after 6 weeks, I ended up back at the shelter because the dog there didn’t quite accept me. It’s been a little confusing, but I haven’t lost hope. I’m still the same shy but very sweet guy who just wants a calm, loving place to call my own. I may take a little time to open up, but once I do, I promise I’ll be your quiet companion, always nearby, always loyal. I think I’d do best in a peaceful home where I can feel safe and loved—maybe even as your one-and-only pet. I’ve been waiting for my true forever… maybe it’s with you    If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org.    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
