Allow us to introduce you to Jaxx, an adorable kitten with a heart full of love and a personality that will melt your heart. Jaxx is a shy but incredibly sweet little furball who is searching for a patient and loving forever home. With his soft, velvety fur and big, expressive eyes, Jaxx is a true cuddlebug just waiting to find his special person. He loves to be up high, taking in the sights from a cat tower. Though he might be a bit timid at first, his gentle nature and endearing charm will quickly win you over. Jaxx may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he feels safe and secure, he’ll reward you with purrs, gentle nuzzles, and the kind of companionship that only a kitten like him can offer. He loves finding cozy spots to curl up and watch the world go by, and he’ll appreciate a quiet, calm environment where he can slowly build his confidence. If you have a warm heart and a bit of patience to offer, Jaxx could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s looking for a home where he can feel cherished and secure, and in return, he’ll fill your days with sweet moments and gentle affection. Jaxx is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
