Critter Details

    Hi  My name is Johnnie Cash, Dog in black!   Actually only my front is all black, lol.  I have black and grey everywhere else.  I am about 5 years old and currently only weigh 12 pounds.  I am lucky as I need to gain a pound or so, so I get some extra food!   I love to eat! I came from a noisy shelter recently and am now in a foster home with 3 other small dogs. We are all boys so we have fun seeing who is last to mark a bush!!  I get along fine with them but I am so new they aren't ready to play with me yet.   Foster mom says I am one of the best behaved dogs she has ever had.  Pretty impressive!! I came to her fully potty trained and I love my crate.  I don't make a sound in the crate in the car or when she leaves or is sleeping.  I eat my dry food with no complaint and enjoy any treats that come my way.     I love people, and given just a few minutes I will ask for pets from them.  I do put my paws on your legs so you can pet my sweet face.  I am happy for you to pet me all day.  I am also comfortable with being combed and getting cleaned up.  This mom has done all kinds of crazy things to me, which is fine because she is touching me.  I don't get on furniture unless I am invited.     I am loving the fenced in yard here and hope to have that in my furever home. I run all over and explore.
