Critter Details

Jones is a 2 year old terrier mix that weighs about 22 lbs. He is tall, lean and has the most soulful eyes. When Jones meets new people he’s a bit shy, but after a moment, he wants nothing more than to be curled up in your lap. He is the sweetest dog with a very bouncy, playful personality. He loves other dogs and running around the yard chasing after the birds. He did come into the rescue full of fleas and ticks so it could be that he was living outside. We’re working on his house training and he sleeps nicely in his crate at night with just a little bit of barking for the first couple minutes. Jones hasn’t been around children, but his foster family thinks he would do fine with them. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and ready for a new family to love. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.    ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
