Questions about Jordy and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue.*** Jordy, his six siblings and their mom were all found as strays in a neighboring city. While we couldn't immediately take them in due to space limitations, we were able to get them started on their required vaccinations, de-wormings and other care thanks to a very compassionate woman who agreed to foster them until space did become available. Their mom (picture included with this profile) is a very friendly, small bulldog, weighing only 30lbs. We have no idea who the dad was, but by looking at the pups, we'd have to say he was some type of Shepherd breed.  What is very evident about Jordy is his super-sweet and playful personality. But give this fellow the opportunity, and he will curl up in your lap, look at you with his soulful eyes and just melt your heart. Jordy seems destined to become someone's "soulmate" dog. He will do very well in a home with other dogs and even children who are knowledgeable on how to handle a young pup.  Jordy has received his first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed at proper intervals and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He will require house and leash training. His adopter must agree to having Jordy neutered once he reaches the appropriate age (typically 6 months) and supplying SoCo with verification of such.
