Joseph is a two year old Border Collie/ Labrador Retriever mix who weighs 43 pounds. His story is a testament to resilience and love. Despite a challenging past of neglect by his previous owner, Joseph has emerged as a playful and affectionate companion who is eager to find his forever family. Already crate trained and mostly house trained, Joseph is good with children and gets along well with other dogs. He LOVES to play and has been enjoying a variety of toys in his foster home. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
