Things to know about Josie: 1. She has no concerns or worries with new environments. She walked into her second foster house with absolute confidence. Found all the beds, toys, snacks, and litter boxes immediately and owned the town within a couple hours.  2. Shes a cat lover. She loves to play with other kittens immediately with little introduction,. But also tries soooooo hard to snuggle and sleep curled up with the adult resident cats. Even if they don’t want to, she waits until they are sleeping and slowly creeps close as she can get. The sleepier the cat the more she can drape herself into their space. Then she is content. If you have a pet that maybe lost a companion recently and needs love, Josie might be the perfect fit.  3. Fiercely independent, she will decide when to curl up and snooze in your lap or in your bed at night. Which, she will! Just not when you expect it or ask. At this point in her kitten-ness she prefers to play all day with all the toys, disregard your calls, or adhere to any organized feeding time, and dash away unless of course you show up to the field with a wand toy.  4. She loves to be in the same room where all the action and people are, so shy isn’t the correct description. Independent love bug is the best. But if you’re relaxing, and she’s in the mood for a nap, you will notice she’s in your lap. When did she get there? 5. She’s a bolt of black lightning, wiggly as a wet seal, dense and solid as a velvet covered brick, and warm and welcome as a warm heating pad at night.   Please visit her foster family in Wilmington DE and say hello!   Josie is ~6 months old as of Mar. 5, 2026, spayed and vaccinated.   Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Ellyn and Sue)
