Meet Jr, the gray tabby and white male cat! Jr arrived to the Shelter after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him due to their own medical conditions. Jr has a history of being very friendly with strangers â&#194&#128&#194&#147 going up to them just like a dog. He has been around children (toddler age) and did well. Although Jr has not lived with a cat, he met one through a screen door and seemed to like the interaction â&#194&#128&#194&#147 rolling on his back while interacting. Jr has been indoors only in his previous home and would be best to continue in a similar set up in the next home. His favorite activity is playing with his toys (in particular, a bird toy on a wand). Jr does have some medical considerations that an adopter should think about when coming to meet. Our medical team can talk with any potential adopter who comes in interested in this handsome gentleman!JR is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
