Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Junior! Some cats ask for your attention, Junior quietly hopes for more, your love! This handsome orange tabby boy has lived a life where he was one of many – rescued from a home with over 30 cats after his owner became ill, he never truly knew what it meant to belong to someone. To be chosen, to be cherished. When you first meet Junior, he may hang back, watching, unsure. The world hasn’t been gentle with him, so he takes his time. But if you are patient – if you let him come to you – you’ll witness something incredibly special. A soft step closer, a quiet lean into your hand, and then…the sweetest head butt, as if he’s asking, “is this ok?, Can I trust you?”. And when he does trust you, he loves with his whole heart! He melts under gentle pets, soaking in every bit of affection he missed for so long. In his own quiet way he’ll ask for more, brushing against you, staying close. And then one day, when he feels completely safe, he’ll roll over and offer you his belly – a fragile, vulnerable gift that says more than words ever could. He doesn’t want to be picked up or held. Life didn’t teach him that comfort. But he will sit beside you. Walk up to you. Choose you! And that choice  – that earned love – is something truly profound! He gets along with other cats and would find comfort in a calm, understanding, patient home. He’s even learning to play, discovering little pieces of joy he never got to experience before. Because of where he came from he does have a chronic upper respiratory condition. It’s part of his story – but not his spirit. His spirit is gentle, resilient and full of quiet hope. All Junior has ever wanted is to belong to someone. If you give him that chance, his love won’t come all at once – but slowly, quietly, and completely. In gentle head butts, soft moments by your side, and the day when he finally rolls over and trusts you with his whole heart. He doesn’t need much – just patience, kindness and a promise he’ll never be one of many again. And in return, Junior will give you something truly special: a love that is so deep, so genuine, it will be everything you didn’t know you were missing!  Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg – Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Be sure to check us out on Facebook at  bit.ly/KittyCornerFB and "LIKE" our page and share our posts! SAVING ONE CAT MAY NOT CHANGE THE WORLD…BUT FOR THAT ONE CAT, THE WORLD CHANGES FOREVER!
