She is a pit mix who is approximately 3 years old. She came to us as a stray with heartworm and was the BEST girl throughout treatment. Now she’s healed and ready to find her forever home! You know how some people are immediately warm and bubbly and others need a minute to warm up to you and let you in? Same with dogs! Jupiter is definitely a “slow burn” – she’s a little shy and watches from a distance for a little while, but once she warms up and is comfortable around you she’s incredibly sweet and snuggly and playful. Her foster attests that it is SUPER rewarding when she comes out of her shell! Jupiter lives with other dogs of all sizes and is great with them. She would love to have a dog friend to be a sidekick to and snuggle with! She’s friendly and playful but also takes cues from other dogs when they don’t want to play. Some dogs are “patio dogs” and love to be out and about. Jupiter is more of a “backyard dog” and just loves to hang out at home If you want a dog that loves hanging out and is just happy to be invited – Jupiter is your girl! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
