She loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to play and socialize with. Kaiyah can be cautious with new experiences at first, so slow and gentle introductions help her feel secure. She is making steady progress each day and gains confidence quickly with patience and positive reinforcement—especially when treats are involved. Once she feels comfortable, her goofy and affectionate personality really shines. She is doing very well with potty training and uses bells to signal when she needs to go outside. Kaiyah knows sit and stay and does well in her crate while her foster family is at work, though she is understandably very excited when her people return home. Kaiyah has not yet been introduced to cats, so her compatibility is currently unknown.
