    Kannessa is a super sweet, Great Pyrenees mix. She is about 2 to 2.5 years old and is 55 pounds. She is gentle, calm and completely housebroken – no accidents. She is medium energy and shows spurts of possibly having more energy in store at times (zoomies and playfulness around other dogs).    Kannessa has fun with chew toys, but is non-destructive (that is, she does not go for shoes etc.). She does not have crate experience, but has not needed to be crated thus far. Kannessa is great with touching and is becoming a cuddle bug. She does tend to get mouthy and nibbly when she wants to play, so that should be kept in mind if children are involved.   Kannessa is learning basic commands like come, sit, stay and down. She is highly food-motivated and loves treats. She is also surprisingly tall when she stands up and is a prolific counter surfer. Kannessa has shown slight separation anxiety, but is getting better at being alone.     Kannessa Joy does have heartworm disease, but she can potentially be adopted prior to needing to start treatment. Angels Rescue will cover the cost at one of their participating vets in the metro area. Even though she has heartworm disease, she is a healthy, happy dog looking for a family to love her.   Kannessa would love to meet you!
