A FUN LITTLE BULLDOG:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, I’m Kara!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control with some easily treated skin issues that are doing well now!  I’ve been having fun in my foster home and am now ready to meet my new family and start my happily ever after! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  There’s a senior dog in my foster home that I leave alone and a 6-year-old dog that I enjoy playing with, so if you have another dog that likes playing, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I’ve met and been around teenagers between 14 and 19 years old and I liked them.  I haven’t met young kids, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.       • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster reports that I’m quiet, well-behaved and also a little skittish at times.  I have a cute and curious personality and like to get belly rubs and pets from people.  When I was at the MM shelter, the volunteers reported that I was sweet, friendly, a bit sassy and could be stubborn, which is typical of my breed. / My energy level is approx. 4-6.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: My training is a work in progress as I ‘come’ when called, but don’t really know the ‘come’ command.  I’m working on that and I’m working on ‘sit’ in my foster home. / I don’t like to be crated, especially if other dogs aren’t crated, however I do eat in my crate because I eat slower than they do. / I’m working on my potty training and will need my new family to continue helping me learn this.  In my foster home I’m taken outside every 2-3 hours and after meals. I do like having pee pads available, too, and I do have accidents.       • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy cozying up to my humans, getting petted and belly rubs and playing with another dog.  I also like to play with stuffed animal toys, rubber chew toys and toys in general. / When I was at the shelter, walking near cars was very scary for me, so the volunteers took me to the back yard where I could walk more comfortably.  A fenced yard would be helpful, but if you don’t have one, perhaps we can find a quiet place to walk without traffic.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training as well. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Since I’m a Bulldog, I naturally have skin folds that need to be kept clean and dry each day.  I may need medicated baths in my new home for a short time longer.  I’m looking for a great home and family where we’ll make lots of great memories together and a family that will take wonderful care of me.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
