Critter Details

Hello. My name is Karma. I am beautiful inside and out. I have gorgeous yellow eyes. My black shiny fur is so soft. I even have tuffs of fur between my toes – kind of like roosters with feathers but I’m a cat!! I am a stunning sight for sure. I am also very sweet. I am super friendly and outgoing. I seek attention and always come running when people come to see me. I love to be pet all over, especially my belly. I will roll right over and stay there all day if you keep petting me. I really like to rub my chin all over you too. I currently live in a foster home with my 6 babies. We have our own space and we are thriving! My life hasn’t always been like this though. I was a homeless kitty when I was taken in along a few others by some well intentioned people. Sadly, those people were not healthy and our situation grew out of control. I found myself a young hungry mother living trapped in a very toxic environment having to protect my babies literally with my life from the male cats in the house. I did it! But as a result, I do not trust any other cats at all and will only tolerate dogs from a far. Even though humans were a cause of my struggle, I have zero concerns or hesitations with any of them. I literally love every 2 legged that I meet. I will shower you with chin rubs all around your ankles. We think with time my fear of other dogs and cats will fade but as of right now, my home needs to be where I am the only animal. Please do not worry though. I have so much love to give. I came from a terrible situation and I repay my foster family with love and affection every chance I can get. I truly appreciate a full belly, healthy environment and a loving home. It makes me so happy to be really wanted and cared for. When I find my forever, I will unload all that I have learned, lost, loved and missed. I want to be an active family member. I want to wake up in the morning snuggled in your bed. We can hang out as you get ready for your day. I love attention but I am a mature young lady as well. I can entertain myself just fine while you are out but you best be ready. When you get home, I am going to be at the door waiting to hear all about your day. We can cook dinner, watch a show, do a puzzle. Whatever you like. I’m happy to hang out. I like toys too. I’m always game to bat a pompom ball or feather mouse around. I am most happy just chilling out hanging with you though. I am a rockstar of a mom to my babies. I hear a peep from any of them and I am on it. No question they all survived because of me. So as my babies are all big now and finding their forever homes, it is time for me too. I truly am an awesome lady. My nurturing, maternal, loving and cool personality will transfer to my new life. I will shower my family with my affection, appreciation and wisdom. My foster mom also does not think that I will always have to be a single animal either. Right now, I do but as I shed my trauma, we definitely think dogs will be ok. It will depend on my progress, family and new cat if I could share space with one. For now, I just want to find my family who will let me continue my healing. I promise you I am way more than worth it.
