Name:  Kayla       Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and retriever mix Best Guess for Age:  1.5 years as of December 2024       SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:   40 lbs   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them.   Currently Living at:  Rural shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here   Kayla is Looking For:   Her forever home! Through no fault of her own this sweetie landed in the shelter. She’s eagerly looking forward to having her own humans once again for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she’ll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know he’s safe and loved. In exchange, she promises to make you smile – and to provide loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say?
