A SWEET LITTLE GUY:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hi, my name is Keaton!  I was in a bad situation along with other dogs and wasn’t properly cared for, so thankfully animal control got involved and helped me (and the other dogs) get to Mostly Mutts so I can start living a good life with a wonderful family!  Perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I came in with other dogs and lived with many dogs in my previous home.  I’m still a bit too nervous to meet new dogs at the shelter, so – if you have a nice doggie already – let’s meet along with my trainer and see if we can be friends. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so if you have older responsible kids that won’t accidentally let me outside as I’m a bit of a flight risk right now, let’s meet!   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m an adorable little guy who is initially shy, but my sweet nature doesn’t stay hidden for long.  I’m warming up and being receptive to the love from the volunteers, being held and the nice attention that comes my way. I’m not super playful yet, but my playfulness may change in my new home. My trainer feels I will benefit from a calm, quiet home.  Just give me some time to adjust, and my sweet nature will emerge as it has at the shelter. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  I like my trainer and I’m treat motivated, so I think I’ll be a good learner.  Check back soon to see my progress! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule as I was not properly potty trained in my former situation, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  As I have gained confidence since being rescued, I am receptive to petting and enjoy being held as well as spending time with people – coming to greet them more easily than when I first arrived.  Though new to the leash when I arrived, I enjoy my walks now.  I’ve even started to show some interest in toys, so I bet there are fun play sessions in our future. / I wouldn’t want people to move quickly or rush me into new situations, so give me just a little time to settle into my new home please.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a calm, quiet home where I will be a much-loved member of the family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
