     Meet Kenzie — a gentle, tender-hearted girl who’s finding her courage one day at a time. Shelter life can feel overwhelming for sweet souls like Kenzie, but she’s been blossoming beautifully. Each day she becomes a little more confident, and now she eagerly steps forward for attention whenever she sees a friendly face. On leash, Kenzie enjoys getting out for walks with her handler. She may startle at unfamiliar noises, but with a bit of reassurance she sticks close to her person and keeps moving forward. As the walk goes on, you can practically see her confidence growing. Kenzie has been wonderfully non-reactive to other dogs, just keeping her distance and staying happily focused on her walking buddy. She’s content, calm, and just wants to be near the person she trusts.
