Hi I’m King a sweet happy young boy at 1 years of age! I would really love a home with another dog! I came in with an 8# dog and he gave me all of my confidence. Seriously! I was very shy to meet some of the staff at first but as soon as I saw my little buddy was cool with them, I was so happy go lucky and now we’re best friends! However, my shelter staff can’t adopt me, and my little pal has already found a home so I need a new friend. I am definitely a follower and will do whatever the other dog in the home is doing. I’m such a good boy who loves car rides. When you first meet me I will be a little shy, but if you want to see me shine bring in your K-9 companion to help show me the ropes! I did leave on a trial adoption for almost two weeks that, unfortunately, did not work out in my favor. I was a little hesitant to warm up to the man in the home, but I eventually did! I did well with their 6 year old child. I was housetrained, except I did have a couple of poop accidents when they would leave me by myself. I was still adjusting to their home so please don’t blame me too much. They did not crate me when they left, so while I did not destroy anything, crate training me will still be a good idea, especially while I am adjusting to your home (so I don’t have accidents)!
