A FUN & ACTIVE PUPPY:  Approx. 4 – 5 months old / Approx. 20 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Kira!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I have been soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers while I wait for my new family to find me.  The volunteers bring me joy, and I return the favor.  I can’t wait to do the same with my new family!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and though I was a tad timid and shy, I did start to interact with them after a little time, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.                       • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a volunteer favorite!  They describe me as ‘friendly, happy and sweet’.  An affectionate and fun-spirited puppy, I seem to adjust to new situations well.  For instance, during my shelter bath, I was initially afraid to be in the tub, but then had fun drinking from the water sprayer and leaned back for a shampoo belly rub.  Playful and friendly, I am sure to bring lots of joy to my new family! / My energy level is 5-7.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I am a good student and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ commands.  Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, but – for a puppy – I am making good progress.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like toys and being a typical puppy – I love play time!  I’m on board for all the belly rubs, too.  I look forward to making fun memories with my new family! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed.
