Kira is a chill, sweet, and affectionate pup with a heart full of love! She’s calm and easygoing, but she also has a playful side that comes out when she’s having fun with her toys or giving little happy paw-pounces on her bed. Her eyes practically say, “I just want to love you and be loved back.” Kira is leash trained, crate trained, and does well in the car. She enjoys toys, cuddles, and spending time with her favorite humans. She’s independent at times but always eager to be near the people she adores. Kira thrives on gentle attention and snuggles, and she’ll happily curl up next to you or hop into your lap for some love. She may need a little space during mealtime if other dogs are around, but she’s otherwise friendly and easygoing with her doggy pals. Kira will cry just a few minutes when left alone in the kennel, but she settles quickly and is happy once she knows you’ll be back. Kira is looking for a calm and loving home where she can get all the pets, cuddles, and happy moments she deserves! Kira is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 12/6/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 4:30pm and 8pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application.
