This 5-month-old Wheaten Terrier mix is 22 pounds of pure love, fluff, and puppy energy. He is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate.  Kirby Kyle is an incredibly handsome, affectionate, and resilient 5 month old pup looking for his forever home.  With his beautiful smile, exceptionally soft coat, and social personality (he gets along well with other dogs and respectful children), Kirby Kyle has the potential to become an amazing family companion.  However, as a young puppy, he remains a work in progress and will require an active family committed to consistent, structured training. Kirby Kyle is in the peak of his puppyhood and teething phases. His adoptive family must be prepared to actively manage and train through the following behaviors: Mouthiness and teething: like most puppies his age, he uses his mouth to explore and will need redirection to appropriate chew toys. Because of this, his interaction with young children must be closely supervised. Impulse control: he is energetic and eager to see what is happening around him. He will need continued guidance to learn boundaries. Potty training: he is well on his way to being house-trained but his new family will need to maintain a regular outdoor schedule to prevent occasional accidents. Kirby will thrive with active family that welcomes the reward and the work of raising a puppy.
