Meet handsome Koda! He was born 1/26/24 in MO. He found himself tossed in a box with his littermate and was about to be thrown in a dumpster when a young college guy saw what was happening and saved them. He currently weighs 65 lbs and is believed to be a Catahoula/Doberman Pinscher mix. Judging by his paw size, he’ll be a big guy. He is the best! He’s pretty shy to start off with, but once he trusts you he TRUSTS YOU! He’ll stay by your side all day and night if you let him. He is crate trained and housebroken. Koda is made up of pure love, goofiness, smarts, and lots of naps. He enjoys chew toys and fetch. He walks amazingly on the leash, and he’s learning how to sit, lay down, and how to trust in general. He gets along good with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but his foster mama feeds them separately. This boy will thrive in a home with lots of love, patience, and some basic training. He will make a fantastic forever friend for one lucky family! He was just recently neutered, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, examined, on preventatives, and ready for adoption! His adoption donation fee is: $400. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
