Critter Details
This is Koller & he is a 12 week old little pitbull puppy mix. He weighs about 13 or 14 pounds.Koller came from a very crowded shelter in North Carolina, Fancy Cats & Dogs rescue got him on a transport to Northern Virginia with 25 other puppies.Included in that group of rescued puppies were Kohler’s 7 siblings. I’m happy to say five of Koller’s siblings have been adopted. And, Kohler would like nothing better than to have his forever home, too.Koller has an extremely good temperament. He loves other dogs, he loves children, I think he would even get along with cats. He loves going on walks, he does very well on a leash and he just recently learned how to swim in the creek! He loves to romp in the woods, play and wrestle with all of his friends. Most foster dogs are not immediately warm to men. Koller is an exception. Kohler loves everyone! The more affection you give him, the more he gives you back. He is so happy to be held and carried around. He also loves it when you talk to him directly and tell him how beautiful he is and how sweet he is. He’s a very intelligent puppy. He loves to watch you do your human things and he’s very anxious to please you. Anything you want him to do he’s ready to listen.Koller is about 60% House trained. He knows when he’s outside that that is the time to go potty, but he doesn’t exactly know how to ask you to go outside yet. He is still learning, but he is learning fast.He is also very food motivated, which makes him very trainable. He will also take a treat from you very gently. If you are interested in meeting Koller, that would make him very happy! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. See our calendar of adoption events at https://fancycats.org/(scroll towards bottom) You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
