Name: Kosu Nicknames: Kosie, Koko  Age or Date of Birth: Born approximately 5/7/26 Activity Level: I'm a laid-back puppy with just the right amount of playful energy. I enjoy exploring, playing with my dog friends, and then settling in for a nice nap by my people. Things I do in my free time: I love following my foster family and resident dogs wherever they go. I'm cautiously curious and enjoy exploring the world at my own pace. Whether it's sniffing around the yard, playing with toys, or relaxing nearby while everyone else is busy, I'm happiest just being part of the action. Things I know: I'm doing a great job with potty training and am learning that going outside is the place to do my business. I'm also getting comfortable with my daily routine. Things I am learning/currently working on: I'm still a young puppy, so I'm learning basic commands, good manners, and building my confidence. I'm a thoughtful little guy who likes to take in new experiences before jumping right in. Who I currently live with (humans and animals): I currently live with two adults, two resident dogs, and a cat. How I do with kids: I haven't spent much time around young children yet, but my calm and gentle personality suggests I'll do well with respectful kids who understand puppy manners. How I do with dogs: I love having other dogs around! I enjoy following my foster siblings and look to them for confidence. I'd likely do very well with another friendly dog in my forever home, but I'd also be happy as long as I have loving people to spend time with. How I do with cats: I live peacefully with a cat and have been respectful. My current size: I weigh about 12 lbs now, but I still have lots of puppy growing left to do! How I do in my kennel: I'm doing well in my kennel and continue to get more comfortable every day. With a consistent routine, I settle in nicely. How I do in car rides: I've done well on car rides. Am I house trained?: I'm making good progress with potty training and have been doing very well with a consistent schedule. Additional Info from foster: Kosu is one of those puppies who quietly steals your heart. He's incredibly sweet, easygoing, and has a calm nature that's uncommon for such a young puppy. Rather than charging into every new situation, he prefers to watch, learn, and explore at his own pace. Once he's comfortable, he's happiest following his people or canine friends from room to room, just wanting to be part of the family.
