Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   This year we have seen a significant rise in abuse and neglect and poor. Jade falls right into that category. She is two years old and I already had three litters of pups which has stunted her growth. She’s going to be a very small labrador. She came to us With every bone and ribs showing. Her puppies have gone to rescue but the rescue did not have room for Jade. We are looking for someone who is looking for their best friend as Jade wants to be with her person 24 seven and follow her every step. She’s absolutely amazing. Considering all that she went through, We would have expected her to have issues, but we are seeing nothing but a perfect dog. We strive to get every animal the right home the first time however it is more important with Jade than most because she is looking to attach herself to a human that will care for her. Our numbers have increased exponentially since Covid. Unlike most shelters, we remained open and hit record intake numbers after the epidemic hit. We have taken in dozens of very sick felines that had no other option, and have even helped over 60 canines in 2021. 2022 was not any better.  We are trying to compute our end of the year numbers, but intake, vetting expenses, cost of food and litter for our 120 plus cats all just continues to get worse with the cost of living increasing like it has. Our rescue has also provided record number spay/neuters 2023 at well over 1200 surgeries on cats and dogs. Our accounts are drained, but we feel these surgeries are the only way we are going to be able to stay a float. We will never keep up with the rate that cats can breed in our area.  We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list.
