Laila is a sweet 5-6-year-old, 6-pound, spayed female Yorkie or possibly Yorkie mix. Our groomer guesses that Laila may be a Yorkie-Maltese mix (a Morkie) or Yorkie Poodle (a Yorkie-Poo). No matter what breed or breed mix Laila is, she is adorable, even shaved down (done due to matting). Laila loves women and men equally and wants nothing more than to spend time with a person, on their lap and sleep in the big bed. At this point, she seems quieter than most Yorkies. She will continue to need teaching when it comes to pottying outside. We are just starting leash training. Laila could be an only dog or have another dog under 12 pounds in the home. The adoption range for this dog is limited to NC, SC, VA and East TN. If you are interested in adopting this dog, contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. There is an application process and adoption fee. WE REQUIRE AN ALL-ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD Laila’S ADOPTIVE HOME. The secure fence must be 4ft or higher, with gaps no larger than 1 1/2 inches and attached to the home. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace (without grass), temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, NC to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines, and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing. Adoption Fee: $500
