When we pulled up, she didn’t hesitate — she ran straight to the car and hopped into the front seat like, “Okay, let’s go.” And just like that, she became the ultimate co-pilot. The first night in foster, Lainey was gentle but unsure. Once she realized she was safe, this sweet brindle beauty fell into the deepest sleep — didn’t even wake up for dinner or the other dogs playing around her. She finally exhaled.
