Name:   Larry          Best Guess for Breed:   Shepherd/Lab Mix   Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of February 2025          SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  43 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs. We haven’t seen him with cats, but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special Adoption Considerations:  Larry is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show him the ropes.  We would be cautious placing Larry in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.     Larry is Looking For:   This chill dude is looking for a new place to hang out, with family who wants give him some nice walks and rockin’ playtime, and are fully prepared to relax with him on the couch when the time comes! He’s not too cool for school and would love to learn the ropes with you. Are you the one to vibe with him? He does that every day without fail.
