Meet Lass, a young, delightful canine brimming with personality. We are thinking Lass and her sister Sophie are a Collie mix. Initially shy, she soon blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion. Lass is intelligent and curious, always ready to explore and learn new tricks. She is crate trained, walks calmly on the leash, and is almost there with house training but does need a little more practice. Her gentle nature makes her a perfect friend for other dogs and children, creating joyful moments for everyone around her. Because she’s still learning about the world and hasn’t experienced much chaos yet, she wouldn’t be a great match for a super busy or unpredictable environment right now. But with continued positive socialization, patience, and guidance, we believe she could grow into a dog who handles new situations with grace. She is a smart girl and basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! Adopting Lass means bringing home endless love and laughter, as she's sure to become not just a pet, but a cherished member of any family. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
