Hi there! My name is Latte, and here is a little info about me: Breed: Jindo MixAge: 11 monthsGender: FemaleWeight: 37 lbs (16.6 kg)Height: 19 in (48 cm)Country of Origin: Jeju Island, South KoreaHighlights: Friendly, smart, gentle, well-behaved, and absolutely lovelyFrom a tiny stray puppy on Jeju Island to a devoted mother saved just in time, I’m now ready to cross the Pacific and find the family meant for me!I was found as a tiny puppy on Jeju Island in December 2024, together with my two siblings (Mocha and Cream). No one knows where we came from or who our mother was. Friendly neighbors gave us food and created a safe little space for us to sleep. In the spring of 2025, my sister Mocha injured her leg, and a kind lady rescued her first. My brother, Cream, and I remained on our own for a while. Then, in September, that same lady found me again – this time pregnant. To make things even harder, a neighbor reported me as a stray, worried that more puppies would soon appear. The kind lady brought me, heavily pregnant, into her home, where I safely gave birth to five healthy puppies. By then, my sister Mocha had already been adopted by her. The kind lady, her family, and their friends cared for me and all my babies with so much love.Four of my puppies have already been adopted here in Jeju, and now I, the slightly larger and more unique girl, am hoping to find my forever family in Canada thanks to LAL!I am gentle, well-mannered, and friendly with both humans and other dogs.I know how much humans have done for me, and I always show my gratitude with affection and calm, loving behaviour. I never bark unnecessarily. I am naturally house-trained – no accidents indoors. I settled into indoor living immediately and love being part of a home. I walk beautifully on a leash, even without any formal training! I enjoy outdoor walks with my fosters and am always polite and easy to manage.I’ve cleared all my health checks, and I’ll be spayed and microchipped in early December.I can’t wait to start a new life across the Pacific – maybe with you.Let’s write a beautiful new chapter together!Energy Level: ModerateI get along with:Dogs: Yes! I’m very friendly.Cats: Unknown. Kids: Unknown.Training: Leash-trained: Yes! (Please be prepared to continue training) House-trained: Yes – naturally! (Please help me learn where to go in my new home) Health notes:I will be spayed and microchipped early December 2025. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. Disclaimer:It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in – at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
