Laura is the sweetest blend of playful and snuggly — the best of both worlds! At just about a year old, she’s surprisingly mellow for her age. She absolutely enjoys a nice walk and a fun toy, but what she adores most is simply being with her people. Quality time is her love language. Laura has done wonderfully on car rides and has loved her outings with Miles & Mutts. Her easygoing personality and desire to be part of your day could make her the perfect, level-headed adventure buddy. Overall, Laura has lovely manners. She walks well on leash, appears to be potty trained, and already knows “sit” and “lay down.” She’s a smart cookie and very attentive — we anticipate she’ll thrive with continued training and structure. The one little quirk we’ve noticed is that Laura isn’t a fan of confined spaces and may hesitate to enter a kennel or crate. She is likely not crate trained, though some of this could simply be shelter stress. With patience and positive reinforcement, we believe she’ll continue to grow in confidence. Laura has done great meeting new people. She may look a bit serious at first glance, but don’t be fooled — behind those thoughtful eyes is the softest heart. With other dogs, she’s kept things friendly and low-key. She may do well with a nice companion, and we’re always happy to provide a dog meet-and-greet to ensure the best match. Laura is truly a special girl — affectionate, intelligent, and ready to be someone’s very best friend. We would absolutely love for you to come meet her.
