LEANNE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name: Leanne          Best Guess for Breed: Bassett/Terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of November 2025         SEX: Female   Approximate Weight: 28 lbs as of 11/3/25 and 9/14/25 – her weight is likely stable   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! She has also lived with kids and done well. We haven’t seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: DC area foster home   Leanne is Looking For: Hi, I’m Leanne and I’m on the lookout for my forever family! I dream of a home where I can go on fun walks, have plenty of playtime, and maybe even make some doggy friends along the way. I’m still young, so I’d love humans who can help me keep learning so I can be the best doggy ever. A comfy spot to nap, a family who includes me in their adventures, and lots of love—that’s my perfect match. In return, I’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and a tail that never stops wagging. What My Foster Says About Me: Leanne is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met! She is an energetic girl that loves to run – she would be a great running or hiking buddy. After she has released her energy, she becomes a lap dog. She absolutely loves to fall asleep on my lap under a blanket after a good run. She will do great with an active family. She is already showing signs of being house- and crate-trained. She’s also doing great with our young son!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
