Meet Leia! Sweet Princess Leia is an 8.5 year old yellow lab who was surrendered to Brookline when her family circumstances changed. She is looking for a home to spend her golden years being spoiled like the princess she is!Leia could adapt to many types of families. She is a typical lab in that she loves everyone and just wants to be with her people. She has been good with everyone she has met, including children. Leia has been living with 2 dogs with very different temperaments while in foster care and she has done well with both. Leia spent the last 8 years with a fur brother before coming into foster care and she will need another dog in her new home.Leia LOVES the water. She could play in the pool or jump at the hose all day. She also has a lot of energy left and enjoys running and playing with the resident dogs in the backyard. Leia gets super excited for her morning walk and is learning good leash manners. She walks about 2 miles each day.Leia is sweet, playful and friendly. She wants nothing more than to be with her family and to be loved. She is housetrained and up-to-date on her shots.
