Meet Lenny! This 1.5 year old, 10 pound Terrier mix has come a long way from his days on the streets of Texas. Understandably, he can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he’s quickly learning that life is full of kindness and comfort. Once he warms up, Lenny’s gentle, affectionate personality shines through, and he’ll happily curl up beside you for snuggles.  Lenny gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and wouldn’t mind having a canine friend, though he’s just as content being the center of your attention as an only dog. He doesn’t seem to mind cats either, making him a great fit for many kinds of homes. Lenny is both crate trained and housebroken. He even puts himself to bed in his crate when he’s ready for some rest.   This sweet, easygoing boy is neutered, fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Now all he needs is a patient forever home where he can continue to blossom and be loved the way he deserves. Lenny’s adoption donation is $425. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
