A SWEET & DELIGHTFUL FELLOW:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, I’m Leo!  I came to Mostly Mutts from a home that had a lot of dogs! We needed help when our dad had to go into Hospice care, so Mostly Mutts was able to take me, and quite a few more into their program. Now I’m ready to find a new home and family of my very own!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I came in with other dogs, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a sweet, loveable, happy-natured, a little scared of new things and a playful boy. / My energy level is currently 4–6.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer!  Check back soon to see what I've learned. / The crate is new to me. / I’m doing pretty well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule, but I may need a little refresher in my new home since I lived with a lot of dogs, and it wasn’t totally clear who was having accidents.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like playing with toys and sitting in the laps of the volunteers.  I’m sure we will discover lots more likes that we will enjoy together. / I’m a bit scared of loud noises, so I’d like a quieter home to enjoy with my family and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  Since I'm a Dachshund, I naturally have a long back which is subject to injury, so please don't allow me to jump on and off furniture so we can keep me safe and healthy. I’m looking for a wonderful family to love and take great care of me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
