Meet King Leo!! King Leo is a confident, social, and highly engaged pup who loves both people and dogs. He’s a quick learner thriving with clicker training—already mastering Sit, Down, and Go to Mat with an automatic stay. He’s currently polishing up his Leave It, Out, and Off cues. With treats and consistency, he’s improving his loose-leash walking, though he can still pull when he spots something (or someone!) that catches his interest. His enthusiasm sometimes causes him to lose focus, but regular impulse-control practice is helping him settle faster. Leo loves puppy playgroups and has a playful, balanced style. He enjoys being both the chaser and the chased and will even step in as a “referee” when play gets too rowdy—showing great social awareness for his age. At home, Leo is an energetic, curious explorer who can be a bit of a counter surfer and is determined when he wants something. He can be mouthy with people and occasionally bite down too hard, but he’s noticeably gentler and more patient with children. He lives with a cat and mostly wants to play; he’s learning to manage his impulses and not chase her all the time. Work in progress!Overall, Leo is a loving, eager-to-learn companion who will thrive with an experienced, patient adopter committed to continuing his training and helping him channel his enthusiasm into good manners and fun adventures.
