In the car, though, his heart goes into overdrive—seeing people turns him into a hopeful social butterfly, fully convinced everyone might be his next best friend. He understands structure and routine. He crates well at dinner time and knows exactly when it’s time to settle in, though outside of that he may need a little encouragement.
