Please contact Ann Marie Burns (AnnMarieB@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.baby bear! LILAH NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Lilah and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Sept. 22nd) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904)! Name: Lilah Best Guess for Breed: Rottweiler/Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 3 months as of 9/3/24 SEX: Female Estimated Weight (puppies’ weights change quickly!): 22 lbs as of 9/13/24 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Currently Living at: Lucky Dog’s South Carolina rescue campus! Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Lilah is Looking For: Given she hit 22 pounds at three months of age, it’s likely she will be big – and it can be easy to forget that she’s still just a baby. But a baby she is, and Lilah wants what all puppies want – lots of play time and snuggles and deep naps on warm laps, and more play time and snuggles! And then she wants to explore the neighborhood – the local parks – the world! And make lots of pup and people pals along the way. And go to puppy school to learn to be the goodest girl (given her size, this is extra important!) She is such a cuddly and goofy and all-around awesome pup, and she will make her humans very happy. If you think that might be you – see below for information on how to apply to adopt her! What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster. Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
