Little Lilly is looking for a home to call her own. She is a 4-month-old French Bulldog-mixed breed pup who is so eager to end her days as a stray and find her forever home and family.Living on her own has not prevented Lilly from developing a happy, social personality, perfect for making new friends and enjoying herself wherever she is. She is a small girl now at 15 pounds, and it is estimated that she will stay a small dog (10-31 pounds) when she is fully grown. Lilly blossoms when she has the opportunity to play with children and other dogs. It is not known whether Lilly enjoys the company of cats.Lilly is working on her house, leash and crate training. Still a puppy, Lilly needs a bathroom routine after meals, exercise, and naps to complete her house training. It is important to remember that rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. If crate training is planned, Lilly deserves a crate big enough for her, as she grows, to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and must never be used for punishment. Lilly needs time to explore her crate and go in and out as she wishes. Pups have immature growth plates until about a year old so short walks, games that carefully match her playful spirit, and quiet naptime ensures she grows up healthy and fit. As spring turns into summer, with Lilly at your side the world will become a beautiful place.* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lilly is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
