At 6 months young, I’m nestled in the heart of Charlotte, NC, dreaming of a family to call my own.I’m the epitome of a Velcro dog, always by your side, following you like a shadow with a wagging tail. My idea of a perfect day includes endless couch cuddles, where I’ll wrap my paws around you for the coziest hug. If you forget to pet me, don’t worry—I’ll gently remind you with a nudge of my nose.Strolls are a delight with me; I’m a pro with a harness, preferring to walk in harmony right beside you. My affection knows no bounds—I’m the puppy that will shower you with kisses, especially adoring the giggles of young children, whom I follow with the gentlest of steps.While I may be a pup with a sprinkle of energy, my true passions are snoozing and snacking. I’m a free feeder, content to graze or curl up shrimp-style for a nap. I’m a social butterfly with other dogs, rekindling the youth in my senior foster sister, and I’m all about those chew toys and ropes, thanks to my teething adventures.My foster cat sister and I get along famously; I have zero prey drive and enjoy our playful banter. Crate training? Check! But I’m such a well-behaved lady, I’ve been left alone without any mischief.Most days, you’ll find me mellow and serene, hoping to sneak into your bed for a snuggle—if you’ll allow it. Otherwise, I’m content to sleep in my own bed, keeping close to you through the night.I’m not picky about my forever human; male or female, it’s all the same to me. I’m proudly potty trained, signaling my need to go outside with a patient wait by the door. And though I may leap for joy around you, I’ve never jumped on anyone.I do have HOD, which means I need to take it easy to keep my joints happy, but my medication keeps me in tip-top shape.
