Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions. Lily is a 4 year old, lovely , sweet, affectionate and playful girl. She loves her person and people best. Lily does well with other more submissive dogs and dog friendly cats. Lily is a typical female…dominant not to be taken as aggressive. Lily loves to play. When she gets bored she may decide chasing her cat friends is fun. She pins them down but has not hurt them. Lily is house and crate trained. She has free rein in the house and is only kenneled for feeding. Lily is very possessive of her food, only with other animals. She likes to hang out in her crate on own sometimes. Lily is submissive to people and just wants all the love and attention she can get. She enjoyed being brushed, I can cut her nails check her teeth and clean her ears, no problem. Lily walks ok on a leash. She does need a martingale collar at all times as she is very good a wiggling out of a traditional collar and some harnesses. I’ve also had success with a gentle leader. She will fight it a bit to get out of it but doesn’t succeed and will go about her walk. Lily loves a car ride and exploring new places! She loves sitting in a chair, like a person, watching squirrels and birds. She can do that for hours! No barking or chasing, just watching. She Is a quiet girl and really only barks when someone walks on the road. Even walking, Lily doesn’t pull to chase squirrels. Lily is a super snuggler and loves to curl up on a lap and sleep by your feet at night. Lily loves attention but is also content with some time to herself. Lily is also good with respectful kids. She is the best girl. Lily is being fostered in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. If you are interested in meeting Lily, please go to our website and fill out an adoption application.
