A balcony might have suited Juliet when calling for Romeo, but it is no place for a little dog to spend her days so thank goodness Lindsey was found and rescued to find her ideal home and forever family.Lindsey is a sweet, small Terrier/mixed breed girl of just 14 pounds, with a creamy coat. She has a low-key nature, making her a good fit for going on easy walks and plenty of down time. It is not known whether Lindsey is comfortable around cats.Lindsey is working at her house and leash training. It is important to remember that rescue dogs can have accidents as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. If crate training is planned, Lindsey needs a crate that is big enough for her to stand and turn around in as well as lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and must never be used for punishment. It is not known how long Lindsey lived on that balcony before she was discovered, but it will not be long before she makes herself at home with someone with safe space and a big heart.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lindsey is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
