Meet Lolly, a tiny girl with a big heart. She loves kisses and sleeping on a comfy lap. You can always find her soaking up the sun on a windowsill or in her cat bed. She always gets your attention with her soft meow. She is a talker and loves a good conversation. Lolly is good around cats, dogs, and older/respectful kids. Just takes her a little time to warm up but if you let her go at her pace, she opens right up! Lolly has previously tested FIV+ but can live with other FIV- or FIV+ cats since she is already spayed and coexists peacefully with other calm, low-key animals. Lolly came to us with some pretty rough back pain, which may have been caused by some intervertebral disk disease (IVDD), or potentially some slipped discs. Lolly has been working hard to get back to feeling better by taking a couple easy medications (one for pain, one steroid for inflammation, and some Miralax to prevent constipation), and has been getting acupuncture treatments on a regular basis. One of her new meds, Solensia, is an injection that she gets monthly, and it has been helping her so much in feeling like herself again! These injections can be arranged at your local vet's office, while her medications are reasonably priced and can be purchased through your vet, pharmacy, or online. Lolly does not let her medical condition stop her from living her best life. She is a special gal who will need a special adopter to continue the supportive care for her back pain at their own vet. We hope you will think about opening your heart to Lolly and join her in living your best life full of Lolly’s love and kisses! If you have any questions about Lolly’s condition or medication or health management that PAWS has started, staff is happy to chat more with you! **Lolly can be adopted with a 3-month care package! She will go home with a 3-month supply of medication.** Age: ~5.5 years How I came to PAWS: found stray Animal ID#: A178970 I am not at the shelter.
