Meet Lucy — A Tiny, Tenderhearted Homebody Lucy is a calm, pint-sized little tuxedo baby who specializes in finding the coziest, quietest spots to curl up. When you do spot him, you’ll be rewarded with immediate purrs and a soft, squeaky meow to say hello. Despite his name, Lucy is, in fact, a boy. He was accidentally mistaken for a girl when he first came to his foster home from the shelter… and the name stuck! He is the adorable other half to his brother Ricky and together Lucy and Ricky make a precious tuxie duo! Lucy is the definition of a snuggle companion—his dream day involves being tucked into a soft blanket on your lap or at your side while you binge-watch your favorite shows. He’s the runt of his litter and adorably small (truly a little pipsqueak), with short legs, a stubby build, and an overwhelming desire to be babied as much as possible.Lucy would do well in just about any home, as he has met adult cats, large and small dogs, and children ages 4–15, and handled everyone beautifully. That said, his heart is happiest in a calmer household where he can relax, soak up affection, and enjoy his peaceful routine. He’s easygoing, loves being pet and held, and enjoys attention—even though he’s also content doing his own thing. He’s more laid-back than most kittens, so while he does play, it’s not his main personality trait. Think gentle soul, not chaotic kitten energy. Since he is still young, Lucy will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty to socialize with. He would be thrilled to be adopted with his brother Ricky, whom he absolutely loves, they are inseperable! Even when introduced to other foster kittens, Lucy and Ricky seek each other out and sleep cuddled together every night. Ricky brings out Lucy’s playful side and helps him feel brave, and Ricky truly thrives with his brother by his side. Their foster would absolutely love to see them adopted together. When Lucy’s nap battery is fully charged, he enjoys climbing his cat tower, batting at wand toys, and wrestling with his brother—especially toys that don’t require too much cardio (a very relatable preference). One of Lucy’s funniest traits is his superpower: invisibility. Between his tiny size and quiet nature, it’s a daily game of “Where did Lucy go?”—and the answer is usually that he’s been in the same room the whole time, just expertly hidden. A collar with a bell is highly recommended for this little Houdini.Sweet, gentle, adorable, and endlessly lovable, Lucy is a little guy with a big heart who’s ready to be someone’s cozy, devoted companion—especially if his brother Ricky can come along too.
