    Some dogs are survivors. Luke's life began in a county shelter alongside his three littermates. Before rescue, one of his siblings tragically lost the battle with parvovirus. When Angels Among Us pulled Luke and his sisters, everyone hoped for the best, but Luke quickly became gravely ill. For nearly two weeks, he fought for his life in the hospital. We had heartbreaking conversations about whether it was time to let him go. But Luke had other plans. He chose to fight. Today, that tiny puppy who refused to give up is healthy, happy, and ready to start the life he worked so hard for. Now it's his turn to just be a puppy. Luke loves exploring the world, playing, learning new things, and soaking up all the love he missed out on while spending his first weeks in a hospital instead of a home. Like any young puppy, he's still learning house manners, working on potty training, and discovering that everything is either a toy or worth investigating.
