Will you please foster me?  Cat- Friendly!!  Meet Lulu an all-black gal who absolutely adores other cats. Lulu has been with us since she was 3 months old and we estimate her age to be 1.5 years old as of March 2025. You can often find her snuggling or sharing her food with her feline friends, which is just adorable. We are not exaggerating when we say she has made friends with every kitty in the shelter!  When it comes to people, while she will allow you to approach, Lulu much prefers to be admired from a short distance. Lately, this gal has shown a more welcoming side, allowing her caretakers to pet and brush her, which she adores.  S he can be a little rattled by sudden movements or loud noises, so  a calm, adult-only household would be her preferred living arrangement. Ideally, her person will be patient and continue to work with her towards becoming more socialized.  When it comes to playtime, Lulu excels! She loves to bat mice around and chase fluffy wands. What we love the most is watching her with her water! She's often splashing around in her bowls and making little pools to play and, we only assume, use to look at her reflection. She'd probably go wild with a fountain! Once upon a time, Lulu was fine with her foster's 2 large dogs (a lab/ rot and malamute/ shepherd). With proper introduction she may do well around other canines, but we cannot be sure since she has been in the shelter environment for most of her life. Lulu is playing in our Willow Grove Shelter.
