Mabel and her sister Ellie are just absolutely the sweetest and most loving girls you will ever meet.  They came to the rescue when their owner could no longer afford to keep pets, and they didn't miss a beat when they came to their foster home!  They absolutely adore cat caves, cat trees, or just plain old sofas to land in, but if there is a warm body to slay against or perch upon, they are just as happy as can be.  As soon as their foster dad lays down, they find his chest like heat-seeking missiles and snuggle in.  These two sisters are not bonded in the sense that they get distraught if the other one isn't around–they certainly explore the house independently and can often be found laying in separate areas.  But they have been together their whole lives and get along perfectly, and it's not odd to find them sleeping with each other when in a small room.  They can be seen giving each other kisses and head butts as they pass each other in the hall.  They would make a perfect duo for someone looking for calm and personable companionship.   Mabel is a buff tabby and Ellie is a darker orange tabby with some black freckles on her nose and ears.  They were born in March 2019 and are currently living in a foster home in New Cumberland.  Like many kitties, Ellie has some stomatitis issues, and will be having some dental work done in the next couple months, paid for by the rescue.  But there is no reason that she can't be adopted out and luxuriate in the love of an adoptive family with her sister in the meantime.  Mabel and Ellie will be enjoying the adoption event circuit, so you can see them there, but her foster family knows that such a nice pair of orange females (only 30% of orange cats are female!) will last long. Ellie and Mabel's joint adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing (negative for both), microchip, spay, and upcoming dental work for Ellie.  If you would like more information on these two girls, please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
