Critter Details

Mae was brought into rescue from a local horse barn.  Mae and her kitten, Muffintop, certainly enjoyed lots of good things to eat.   Mae gave birth to a litter of kittens in June.  She was an excellent momma and raised a very healthy social kitten who is also for adoption.   Because their personalities are so sweet, the owner asked if Loving Care could find them a forever home as indoor kitties that they deserve to be.   Mae was born around December 2023.  Currently she is living in a foster home in Palmyra with other foster kitties and 3 dogs.  Although her kitten, Muffintop,  is in the house as well, they are very much both able to be single kitties or friends with other kitties already in their forever home.  They co exist but do not interact as momma and kitten.   Mae is very curious and sweet once she gets to know you.  She has a very gentle and dignified personality.  She is a quiet girl who really enjoys being inside and has no desire to go back out.  She loves her kitty beds and lounging in the kitty tree.  She is very sweet to all the other foster kitties and has a laidback accepting personality with other animals.  She has a beautiful coat that is plush like a teddy bear. She enjoys attention and would make a great kitty for someone who is retired or for a teen/college student looking for an emotional support kitty.  She is even starting to show a little playful side to her playing with toys.  I am sure she has not had the opportunity to play with kitty toys being in a barn and being a momma.  Its very cute to see her exploring.  Mae's adoption donation is 115.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay.
